Lindsay Abney, Girls Team
Lindsay has been with AZOG since mid-summer of 2008 and works with our girls’ teams. She brought with her an impressive gymnastics background. Lindsay competed as a level 10 gymnast for 4 years. During that time she was a national qualifier, a TOPS national team member, and earned a full-ride scholarship to Brigham Young University where she competed from 2000-2002. Lindsay also graduated summa cum laude from ASU with a BS in Exercise and Wellness. As an instructor, she has coached gymnasts from the developmental level up through level 10. Natalie Broekman, Girls Team Coach
Natalie brings years of experience to her coaching. Throughout high school, as a member of the Arizona Twisters, she participated as an Elite U.S. National Team member. She earned a full-ride scholarship to Brigham Young University where she was an NCAA All-American on the balance beam, a team captain and served as a student assistant coach while earning her bachelor's degree in Family Science. She joined the AZOG staff in 2005 and loves coaching in the girl's program. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, and their four cute kids!
Kamren Bowker: Pre-School, Developmental Boys
Kamren joined the AZOG staff in the summer of 2009. He began by shadowing other instructors from our pre-school classes up through our level 2 boys program. On occasion, he will assist in our tumbling classes. He mainly teaches pre-school, jr. level 1 and level one boys and girls classes and is evolving into a well-rounded instructor. Kam is currently learning more about the boys program and is working towards becoming the boy’s recreational program director. He enjoys working with children and is hoping to pursue a career in pediatrics.
Dina Brundage, Girls Recreational Coach

Heather Dowler, Girls Team, Developmental Girls, Recreational Girls Program Director
After Heather’s retirement from AZOG's competitive team in 2004, she naturally made the transition from student to instructor. Her involvement in the program is diverse given that she teaches all ages and levels, from first-day beginners to advanced team members. In her words, “I never cease to be amazed when I am confronted with such big personalities coming from such little people; this is undoubtedly my favorite aspect of coaching.” Outside the gym, Heather dedicates her time and interest to studying philosophy, psychology, literature, music, and fine art- though she is constantly reminded that the most important learning experiences cannot be studied at all, but must be lived spontaneously..
